About Bruce

I grew up in Collinsville, Massachusetts on the Vermont border. Collinsville was a small town, just 1 blinking light, 1 local store (where I delighted in purchasing penny candy), a textile mill long out of business, a two story wooden grade school and my Sunday job was pumping air for the church organ of my Dad's church.

Our family then moved to Long Island where I ran track at Babylon High School and lived on Long Island until 1986. A paper
route (Newsday) was my source of income in High School. My Military service was spent in the Coast Guard for 4 years and then was discharged and started in the financial services industry.

I married my High School sweetheart Flo in 1961 and our family now consists of two children Amy and Rich and four grandchildren, Jason, Bryson, Tyler and Jessica. We left Long Island in 1986 and moved to San Antonio. I thoroughly enjoy living in San Antonio and my interests include my family, my church, the Christian Business Chamber of Commerce, water gardening and racquetball.

Since 1969 when I started in the financial services industry I have attended the College of Insurance, received my CLU  (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designations and have obviously, many years of practical experience.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your retirement goals.
