You are probably asking yourself, who is Bruce Cotter and why should I deal with him.
What do I believe in?
Since 1969 I have provided my clients with impartial financial advice. Give me honest information and I will attempt to put myself in your shoes and suggest some ways for you to use your dollars to accomplish your goals for the future.
What do those initials after my name stand for?
The initials, CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) only mean that I was smart enough to pass the required tests. What is really important is that I took the time to study and take the tests. I have attended The College of Insurance in New York and have taken many insurance and investment courses through the years.
How do I get paid?
Through the sale of investments and insurance (disability, health, life and long term care). Not necessarily in that order. Your priorities are my priorities. I am not captive to any one company nor any one product. You, like me, are an individual and our needs are different.
What I won't do, is push something down your throat, Remember, I cannot sign your check and you should not follow my advice unless you are comfortable. My recommendations may include changes in your spending, savings, investments and/or insurance program.
